SHULL ARRESTED AGAIN; STRIP SEARCH REVEALS METH PIPE HIDDEN IN BODY CAVITY

Cumberland County deputies arrested 38-year-old Shelly Marie Shull of Crossville late Thursday night after stopping her for failure to maintain a lane of travel along Highway 70 East. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found a set of digital scales with meth residue; and Shull admitted having a joint hidden in her brassiere. Deputies reported Shull was “messing with herself” in the patrol vehicle on the way to jail, so they requested a strip search. A female corrections officer found a glass pipe with meth residue shoved into a body cavity. Shull was charged with manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth, simple possession, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of contraband in a penal institution. She was placed under $60,000 bond and is awaiting an April 1 court date.

Shull was last arrested in late January on drug and weapons charges. At that time, she attempted to conceal drug paraphernalia beneath her dog. She’d previously been served an order of protection January 10.
