Yesterday, Crossville police units were dispatched to Waterview Drive for possible vandalism. Officer Justin Farmer spoke with a woman who said that at some point during the night, she heard a loud noise that sounded like glass breaking.

She then claims she heard teenagers laughing and joking, running away from the house, followed by the sound of vehicle doors closing and driving away.

She wouldn’t find the door window broken until 11:00 yesterday morning. The window was broken high and away from the door handle, and the homeowner said the door was still locked.

On the front porch there was some yellow and green silly string at the homeowner said wasn’t there before. The homeowner said she couldn’t think of anyone that might have done this, and there is no known video footage.

No suspects have been arrested and no charges have been filed.
