In Smyrna, Tennessee, a man barricaded himself inside Legacy Wine & Spirits after firing at least one shot through a window. The incident began Tuesday afternoon, prompting a response from local, county, and state police.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect holding a gun and breaking bottles. The suspect, who initially asked to use the phone and requested tequila, pulled a gun when asked for payment, causing people to flee.

He also allegedly fired at police and tried to set the store on fire. After hours of negotiations, police arrested the suspect without incident before 6 p.m. No one was harmed, and the store owners expressed relief at the safe resolution.
