A Soddy Daisy man has been arrested for attempted murder. Police were dispatched to a location early Saturday morning shortly after 12:30 AM for a person that had been shot. A preliminary investigation led to the arrest of 74-year-old John Jones who was charged with attempted murder. The name of the victim or their condition has yet to be released.
