Tuesday morning, an employee of the South Cumberland Utility District contacted Cumberland County deputies to report a theft of services along Oswego Court.

The water meter at the residence had been removed and bypassed. A search of the premises failed to turn up the meter.

The value of the meter and the water used is currently unknown.
