COLLINS ARRESTED ON METH CHARGES, SIMPLE POSSESSION & DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE
When Cumberland County deputies initiated a traffic stop at mile marker 329 along Interstate 40 Eastbound early Tuesday morning, they found more than a non-operational brake light. Forty-five-year-old Carl Lewis Collins of Crossville, whose license was suspended, had on his person ten 2mg Xanax tablets.
A search of the vehicle turned up 3.08 grams of meth and a glass pipe with burnt residue.
Collins was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of a Schedule IV drug, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Collins was placed under $15,200 bond. He’s due in court March 4th.
