SPARTA WOMAN WANTED BY FLORIDA AUTHORITIES ARRESTED IN CROSSVILLE

A White County woman was arrested in Crossville recently after a check revealed she was wanted by out of state authorities. Police went to Taco Bell on North Main Street for a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle. The female inside the automobile reportedly gave officers a false name. Upon investigating, police learned she was in fact 38-year-old Jennifer Lynn Burris of Sparta wanted by Polk County, Florida authorities. Burris was taken to the Cumberland County jail where she will await extradition.
