Crossville police responded Monday to a stabbing at an apartment on Burnett Street. Officers say they encountered a male in the parking lot with an apparent injury to his left forearm. He told law enforcement 21-year-old Kailey Marie Abney of Crossville got into an argument with him when Abney allegedly came at him with a knife made to look like a key. The weapon with blood on it was located by authorities on an air conditioning unit. Abney had superficial cuts to her hand. Both denied medical aid from paramedics. Abney was arrested for aggravated domestic assault.
