STOLEN VEHICLE CHASED DOWN IN ROANE COUNTY
From the Kingston Police Department:
On 01/24/2025, at approximately 1533 hours, Roane County Central Dispatch notified officers that Knox County and Loudon County units were in pursuit of a Chevrolet Tahoe that had been reported stolen.
The Roane County Sheriff’s Office was able to deploy spike strips. The driver’s side front tire was flattened. The vehicle continued through the active school zone in front of Kingston Elementary at excess of 50mph. The vehicle continued till the intersection of East Race Street and Paint Rock Ferry Road where officers were able to force the vehicle off the roadway.
The driver, Zachary C. Littleton, 33, and a passenger, Regina Crosley, 57, both of Knoxville, were taken into custody.
Zachary Littleton was charged with reckless endangerment, evading arrest, driving on a revoked license, reckless driving and speeding in a school zone 50 mph in a 20-mph zone.
The apprehension of these individuals was made possible due to many agencies working together. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, Roane County Sheriff’s Office and the Kingston Police Department worked together in the apprehension of these individuals.
The Kingston Police Department is actively working with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office on additional drug charges.
