STOLEN VEHICLE FOUND AT OUT-OF-TOWN WRECKER SERVICE
A stolen vehicle from a Crossville business has been recovered at an out-of-town wrecker service. Police were called to Enterprise Car Rental Monday for the report of a stolen vehicle. Employees told officers that a 2016 Chevy Sonic was rented by Richard Moilanen of Crossville on Jan. 21 and never returned. After the business sent Moilanen a letter by certified mail, the report says the subject responded by leaving a letter attached to the business’s door telling them to “stop what they are doing”, or he would explore a restraining order. The vehicle was located Tuesday at Reed’s Wrecker Service in Monterey. A THP accident report showed that Moilanen had wrecked the car in Putnam County in January of 2017. The investigation is ongoing.
