While on patrol recently on Miller Bypass and Rock Quarry Road, a Crossville police officer observed a silver Ford Escape parked on the shoulder of the road. A check revealed it was reported stolen out of Hawkins County. Authorities there informed the officer they signed a warrant for the arrest of 42-year-old Jason Edward Howard of Morristown in connection to the vehicle theft. The Ford was towed to Crossville city impound and held for the owner to pick up.
