A Crossville man was arrested for unlawfully possessing a firearm after a traffic stop Saturday. Deputies pulled over 33-year-old Dustin Lynn Thompson on Highway 127 North near the Fentress County line for speeding. The officer had a previous dealing with Thompson for drug activity. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed a firearm with seven rounds in the magazine. Thompson was taken to the Cumberland County jail.
