SUSPECT ARRESTED IN ROCKWOOD STABBING INCIDENT
Blount County Authorities have arrested a man suspected of stabbing a Rockwood man last week. 20-year-old Shaine David Clayton Angel is charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly stabbed a 47-year-old man at his Russell Rd. residence. Blount County Deputies along with Alcoa Police found the victim, who was not immediately identified, in the front yard of the home suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken by ambulance to UT Medical Center. His condition has not been released. Witnesses told officers that Angel left the scene on foot. After a hunt which included a K-9 Officer, Angel was discovered hiding out at a restaurant on Alcoa Highway. Additional charges could be forthcoming.
