SUSPECT IDENTIFIED IN FAIRFIELD GLADE STABBING

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department identified the suspect involved in a bloody dispute in Fairfield Glade last night. The incident took place at 105 Runnymeade Road. Law enforcement took 56-year-old Louis Thompson Anderson into custody for felony aggravated assault. The report states 53-year-old Teddy Allred was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and back during the physical altercation. Officers observed blood on the walls and carpet of the dwelling. A landing zone was established near Food City on Peavine Road for a medical helicopter to transport the victim to U.T. Medical Center for treatment. The  condition of Allred has not been officially released yet. Thompson was processed into the jail with an initial bond set at $10,000. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance July 19, 2021.
