SUSPECT IN LOUDON COUNTY SCHOOL THREAT RELEASED ON $100,000 BOND
The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office has announced that David Parks, involved in a school threat investigation, has been released on a $100,000 bond as part of the judicial process. Prior to his release, Parks was fitted with a GPS ankle monitor and placed under strict conditions, including a prohibition on any contact or harassing communications—direct or indirect—with Loudon County or Lenoir City schools, as well as no possession of firearms.
Sheriff Jimmy Davis emphasized the office’s commitment to school safety, noting that parents, students, and staff should feel secure. As part of these efforts, there will be an increased law enforcement presence at Eaton Elementary and heightened visibility across all county schools, extending into summer school. The Sheriff’s Office will continue working closely with school systems and public safety partners to thoroughly investigate and swiftly address any threats.
