SUSPECT IN NASHVILLE NURSE’S STABBING DEATH IN CUSTODY
The man suspected of stabbing a Nashville nurse to death is in custody. 24-year-old Christopher Drew McLawhorn is charged with criminal homicide and especially aggravated burglary in the death of Tiffany Ferguson. According to reports, the 23-year-old nurse was stabbed in her apartment in the early morning of Feb. 28. Authorities say that she was stabbed by a random burglar who was checking for open vehicles and unlocked apartments in the area. McLawhorn, who is listed as homeless, became a person-of-interest in the case when he was arrested for having marijuana Sunday.
