Rockwood police recently arrested a woman for supposedly driving a vehicle with her nine-month-old child in her lap. Officers stopped a Ford Explorer operated by 29-year-old Lynette Swords at the corner of Tedder and Front Street. Swords was charged with child endangerment and taken to the Roane County jail.
