SYRINGES AND PILLS GALORE SEIZED FROM JOYRIDERS AT WOODMERE EXXON

Late Monday night, Crossville police stopped a vehicle reported missing from out in Cumberland County. Originally reported stolen, the report was downgraded to joyriding. Police identified the driver as 38-year-old Tracy Jo Tindall of Crossville, who appeared nervous. She had an odor of alcohol about her and admitted she’d had a shot of whiskey an hour earlier. She admitted she’s currently on probation in Cumberland County. Her driver’s license was found to be revoked for DUI.

Her passenger, 41-year-old William Chad Meadows, also of Crossville, appeared to police to be “under the influence of a narcotic of some form.” Meadows was found to have an active warrant in Cumberland County for failure to appear on two meth charges.

A consent search of the vehicle yielded 271 2mg Xanax tablets, two cellphone sim cards, three syringes and a container with some vitamins in it.

Meadows was charged with manufacture, sale or delivery of a controlled substance and served the outstanding warrant for failure to appear.

Tindall was charged with driving on a revoked license and manufacture, sale or delivery of a controlled substance.
