The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident in Roane County yesterday. Trooper Jesse Scarbrough says a 2001 Buick Century driven by 48-year-old William Justin Hinds of Rockwood was traveling north on Lower Road when he took evasive action to avoid colliding with an oncoming vehicle in his lane of travel. Hinds left the road and struck a culvert resulting in the vehicle rolling over on its top. Hinds and a 8-year-old passenger has possible injuries according to the accident report.
