TABOR ARRESTED AFTER REPORTEDLY TRYING TO BREAK INTO JAIL AREA
A man trying to break into the Cumberland County jail by way of a back gate was assisted by deputies late last week… right into jail. After the attempt, 38-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Tabor of Crossville was found in a van in the parking lot of the justice center. A K-9 officer alerted authorities to the presence of meth. The report states Tabor said the “cartel was after him and wanted to kill him” and he had to be removed from the van. He was escorted inside to the jail and charged with manufacture, sale and delivery of meth, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public intoxication.
