The 2018 TSSAA high school girls regional basketball tournament gets underway tonight (Friday, February 23, 2018). In Class A, Copper Basin will be at Wartburg, Sunbright will travel to Tellico Plains, Midway will host Sale Creek and Clarkrange will travel to Van Buren. In Class 2A, Kingston will be at Carter, McMinn Central will host Tyner Academy, Sweetwater will be at Red Bank, Meigs County will host Brainard, Livingston Academy will be on the road at Bledsoe County and Cumberland County will host DeKalb County. In Class 3A, Hardin Valley will be at Oak Ridge, Maryville will host Clinton, Warren County will be at Bradley Central, Rhea County will host Walker Valley, White County will be at East Hamilton and Stone Memorial will host Cleveland. All games tonight start at 7 at the school hosting.

The boys regional tournament starts tomorrow night (Saturday, February 24, 2018). In Class A, Lookout Valley will travel to Oakdale, Rockwood will be at Sale Creek, Tellico Plains will host Coalfield, Harriman will entertain CSAS and Whitwell will be at Monterey. In Class 2A, Union County will host Kingston, Loudon will travel to Tyner Academy, Sweetwater will host Howard, Sequatchie County will entertain Livingston Academy and Cumberland County will host Smith County. In Class 3A, Maryville will host Anderson County, Knox Catholic will be at Oak Ridge, Cookeville will travel to Cleveland, White County will host East Hamilton and Stone Memorial will entertain McMinn County. All boys games will get underway at 7 p.m. at the school hosting.
