A male juvenile is in stable condition after being in an officer-involved shooting in Jackson, TN. Jackson Police say that they were in pursuit of the juvenile who had allegedly stolen the car the previous night during a home robbery. The vehicle was stopped at a dead end when two occupants jumped out and ran from the scene. The driver then revved the vehicle forward striking the officer’s cruiser. He was then blocked when he attempted to drive away through a yard. When the juvenile drove in the officer’s direction, the officer fired at him. The boy is being charged with various crimes relating to the chase and the home robbery.
