TEENAGERS THREATENED MCDONALD’S EMPLOYEES WITH AIRSOFT GUN
From the Kingston Police Department:
On 06/14/2025, at approximately 0035 hours, KPD Sgt. Josh Antras arrived at McDonald’s located at 840 N. Kentucky Street in reference to a roberry in progress in the drive thru. Central Dispatch had advised that a white male, in a silver sedan, with a face mask on, had displayed a gun to an employee in the drive thru lane. Sgt. Antras located a 2008 Honda Accord in the drive thru that matched the description given by Central Dispatch.
The vehicle drove away and began travelling south on N. Kentucky Street. Sgt. Antras followed the vehicle until Officer Dwayne Gray arrived to assist due to a handgun involved.
Sgt. Antras and Officer Gray performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and detained the two occupants. The driver was still wearing a black balaclava around his neck that he was wearing during the incident. A Glock air soft gun was located under the driver’s seat of the vehicle as well as opened alcoholic drinks.
Captain Keith Kile arrived and assisted in the investigation. Video of the incident was reviewed and a thorough investigation was conducted.
The driver was identified as a 16 y/o male and the passenger was identified as a 14 y/o male. Both were arrested for aggravated assault, underage consumption and taken to Roane County Juvenile Detention Facility.
