A Crossville used car dealership has reported the theft of a vehicle. Police responded to Scarlett’s Auto Sales on Highway 70 East earlier this week. Two unknown suspects stole a 1994 Green colored GEO Tracker from the business’s warehouse. Video surveillance shows movement and lights inside of the building and reveals the garage door opened by a tall, thin white male while a second male subject drives the vehicle out. The first suspect then jumps in the front seat of the Tracker after pulling the garage door back down. The two then travel down east. A claw hammer was found near a support beam with a damaged section of fence with a tarp at the rear of the building that indicates the likely entrance point. A BOLO has been issued for the vehicle.
