Thomas A. “Tom” Collins, age 85, of Harriman passed away Friday November 24, 2017 at his home. He is survived by his wife: Josephine “Jo” Collins; children and their spouses: Carmen and Ken Nichols of Harriman, Lois N. Parson, Thomas A. Collins, and Christy and Bernard Payne all of Cleveland, Tennessee; step-daughters: Terri Brown and her husband Greg also of Cleveland, Wanda Kay Robbins of Raleigh, NC and Rebecca Staton of Harriman; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; special great-grandchildren: Anaken Elijah Nichols and Adelaide Noelel Holbrook; special nephews: Ronald and Donald Barefield, along with several other nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at New Life Baptist Church in Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8 PM. Graveside services will be Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 11 AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
