A Cumberland County grand jury has indicted 45-year-old Tony Curtis Thompson of Crossville in connection to a fatal car accident.

The indictment states in late December 2022, Tony Thompson was involved in a vehicle crash resulting in the death of Roger Thompson.

Tony Thompson faces charges of vehicular homicide, DUI, and aggravated vehicular homicide.

The indictment indicates Tony has three previous DUI convictions in Cumberland County in 2001 and two in 2006.

He is scheduled for arraignment in Cumberland County Criminal Court on January 24, 2024.

He was processed into the Cumberland County jail under a $1 million dollar bond.
