From the PIckett County Sheriff’s Office:

On February 27, 2025 at approximately 12:00 P.M. Deputies Keyton Dowdy, Joe Britt, and Detectives Chris Beaty, and Levi Thoman conducted a probation search at the residence of Arthur Dale Miller (55) and Kevin Wade Miller (59) both of Byrdstown. During this search a crystal like substance consistent with Methamphetamine was found along with multiple syringes and pipes consistent with items used to use narcotics. Therefore, charging the above mentioned subjects with 39-17-418 Simple Possession or Casual Exchange of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and 39-17-425 Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. Heather Ann Phillips (37) of Byrdstown was located at the residence and was arrested on outstanding warrants in Pickett and Overton Counties.
