A system-wide power outage left much of Roane County and parts of Morgan and Anderson counties in the dark last night. The Harriman Utility Board worked with TVA to get the power restored much within an hour and the rest within a two hour period. The outage also also affecting Harriman Utility Board’s phone system. No word on exactly what caused the power failure.
