Three escaped injury in a two vehicle accident in Cumberland County late Friday. Troopers say 19-year-old Baron Lee Marshall of Spring City was driving a 2005 Lexus on I-40 at the 311 eastbound mile marker when he had to stop for an accident that had traffic backed up. That is when officers say Marshall was rear-ended by an oncoming 2014 Nissan operated by 19-year-old Timothy Bruce Grove of Franklin, Tennessee. Marshall, Grove and a passenger in Grove’s vehicle, 18-year-old Chamberlyn Barnett of Texas, were not hurt. Grove was charged with failure to exercise due care.
