THREE FLOWN TO TRAUMA CENTERS AFTER HEAD ON CRASH
A two vehicle accident in Overton County this morning (Monday, October 30, 2017) resulted in four injuries. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup pulling a trailer driven by 29-year-old Abner Eicher of Lewisburg, Kentucky was traveling on State Route 85 close to Old Union Road when he crossed over the center lane and hit an oncoming 2011 Ford Escape operated by 62-year-old Patricia Burchfield of Livingston head on. Burchfield, Eicher and a 17-year-old passenger in his vehicle were all flown to area trauma centers for treatment of injuries. A passenger in Burchfield’s vehicle, 31-year-old Rena Boswell of Livingston was taken by ambulance to Cookeville Regional Medical Center for treatment.
