THREE INJURED IN MULTI-VEHICLE ACCIDENT
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 30 and State Route 302 in Rhea County yesterday. Troopers say a Ford F-150, a dump truck and a tractor-trailer hauling corn were involved. The drivers of the three vehicles, 67-year-old Harold Maymance of Oliver Springs, 54-year-old Charles Sanders of Carthage and 47-year-old Jamie Parton of Dayton, received minor injuries in the collision. The intersection was closed for several hours while officers investigated the crash.
