THREE JUVENILES CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT IN ROCKWOOD ATTACK
Three juveniles are facing felony charges following a violent altercation that left a local man hospitalized last Wednesday night.
According to a Rockwood Police Department report filed by Officer Watkins, the incident began around 10:30 p.m. after words were exchanged between four juveniles and a 29-year-old victim at the local Dollar General store.
Following the verbal dispute, the victim began walking to his home. A witness told police that as the victim approached Rathburn Street, a vehicle pulled up and three juveniles jumped out, launching a physical assault against him.
The attack left the victim with severe injuries, including a broken nose, multiple lacerations, and a possible concussion. He was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The suspects fled the scene by vehicle immediately after the encounter, but officers were later able to locate the car.
During subsequent interviews with Rockwood police officers, three of the juveniles admitted to their involvement in the beating.

Charged: Three juveniles have each been charged with aggravated assault and are currently awaiting their court dates.

Not Charged: A fourth juvenile who was present in the vehicle reportedly did not participate in the violence and faces no charges.
