THREE SEVIER COUNTY JUVENILES ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH SEYMOUR FOOD CITY SHOOTING
Three minors were arrested after an investigation into a Seymour shooting that happened on April 22. Sevier County authorities say the juveniles from Knox County were charged and arrested with various charges related to a shooting incident that happened in the Food City parking lot in Seymour. The investigation revealed that the incident was not a random carjacking, but instead an arranged meeting involving illegal activities. Officials say the minors tried to rob the people they were meeting. A 17-year-old boy was charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of attempted aggravated robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. A 16-year-old boy was charged with two counts of attempted aggravated robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, and facilitation of attempted first degree murder.
