THREE VEHICLE BREAK-INS REPORTED IN 24 HOURS

Three vehicles were reported broken into in Crossville in a 24 hour period. Last Friday (November 3, 2017, police responded to homes at the 600th and the 1300th block of East Deer Creek Drive where vehicles were entered into by an unknown subject. In one vehicle, a center console door and glove box was opened but nothing was taken. The other vehicle had the center console door left opened by the intruder but nothing was reportedly missing. The third vehicle break-in was in the parking lot of Food City where a backpack containing school books and school supplies valued at $300 were stolen. Police remind the public to secure vehicles when not in use and do not leave anything of value in them.
