THREE VEHICLE CRASH LEAVES ONE HURT IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a three-vehicle accident on Highway 127 in Cumberland County yesterday. Troopers say a 2012 Toyota RAV 4 driven by 58-year-old Denton Sharp of Crossville was stopped because of heavy traffic when a 2004 Dodge Caravan operated by 54-year-old Diana Perez of Crossville slowed down to stop behind Sharp. A 1996 Toyota driven by 26-year-old Cory Smith of Allart, who was behind Perez, did not slow and struck her. The impact sent Perez’ car into the rear of Sharp. Perez was hurt in the accident. Smith was charged with failure to exercise due car.
