A vehicle crash on Northside Drive near South Drive in Crossville (just west of Bojangles) around 3 p.m. today resulted injuries to a driver. Preliminary reports indicate a automobile collided with a tractor-trailer spreading debris and car parts over about a 15 yard length. The male motorists in his 50’s in the car was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment. The road was wet from heavy rainfall at the time of the crash. The scene is in a curve that has become well known for accidents regardless of wet of dry weather conditions. A full report will be released at a later time by the Crossville Police Department.
