TRAFFIC STOP IN PLEASANT HILL ENDS IN METH ARREST

On March 25, 2025, at around 11:56 PM, Deputy Ethan Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a Gold Chevrolet truck with illegally tinted windows on East Main Street in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee. The driver, Joshua Bullard, was identified, and a tint inspection confirmed the violation.

During the stop, Deputy Wilson noticed a strong marijuana odor from the vehicle and asked Bullard to step out. Bullard admitted to having marijuana in his pocket and later revealed he also had “dope” on him. A search by Deputy Atkinson uncovered a baggie with approximately 14.29 grams of a crystalline substance, suspected to be methamphetamine, in Bullard’s pocket. Digital scales, often linked to drug distribution, were also found on the driver’s seat.

Bullard was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and taken to the Cumberland County Justice Center. The scales and suspected methamphetamine were seized as evidence, with the narcotics sent to the TBI for further analysis. Bullard was booked, and the investigation remains ongoing.
