TRAFFIC STOP TURNS INTO DRUG ARREST IN CROSSVILLE

A traffic stop Saturday night on Highway 127 North near Waffle House in Crossville resulted in a drug arrest.

The report states a deputy stopped a Ford F-150 driven by 46-year-old Andrea Lee Greatorex of Crossville for no tag light.

The officer allegedly smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Greatorex reportedly told the deputy she had two marijuana roaches in the vehicle.

The deputy informed her he had probable cause to search the truck. The suspect allegedly told the officer she had “dope” in her purse.

A search reportedly revealed two glass pipes with meth residue and small plastic bags of meth weighing nearly 11 grams.

After she arrived at the jail, a search by a female officer revealed marijuana hidden in Greatorex’s bra.

Deputies charged her with the manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of meth, introducing contraband into a penal institution, and simple possession of drugs.

Her bond was initially set at a total of $49,000.
