TRANSIENT IN CROSSVILLE ARRESTED FOR THIRD TIME IN A MONTH FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A transient in Cumberland County has been charged with disorderly conduct for the third time in a month. Officers were called to the intersection of West Avenue and Elmore Road where 32-year-old Brian Petrie reportedly was jumping out into oncoming traffic and cursing. One motorist told officers Petrie came up to him in a threatening manner. Petrie was taken to the Cumberland County jail. Petrie had been arrested for an identical incident last month, when he reportedly jumped out into traffic on North Main Street. A few days later, he was arrested after a disturbance at Kroger in Crossville.
