A trial date is scheduled to start June 28, 2021 in Cumberland County for 48-year-old Billy Joe Wannyn charged with murder. He is accused of the death of 71-year-old Albin Buechel. Wannyn faces an additional charge of aggravated robbery. Buechel’s body was discovered at his home on Seagraves Road in Pleasant Hill in early 2018  after reportedly sustaining several stab wounds.

Court officials say six other murder suspects in different cases are scheduled to appear in Cumberland County Criminal Court March 15, 2021.
