A trial date has been set for a Cumberland County murder suspect. Officers say 48-year-old Billy Joe Wannyn of Spencer is accused of the death of 71-year-old Albin Buechel. Wannyn faces an additional charge of aggravated robbery. Buechel’s body was discovered at his home on Seagraves Road in Pleasant Hill in early 2018  after reportedly sustaining several stab wounds. In court yesterday, the judge set a motions date of September 13 and a trial date of December 10, 2019.
