A pickup truck traveling on the 6,000 block of Lantana Road last night left the road and collided with a power pole.

The impact sent the pole and electrical wires to the ground.

Volunteer Electric says just over 2,100 customers were without power for a few hours as a result.

An injury report was not initially available.

An accident report will be released soon by law enforcement.
