A morning commute along Interstate 40 West was disrupted earlier today when a semi-truck crashed and overturned near the 331-mile marker.

According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Justine Kipkoech of Tennessee was driving a white 2016 Volvo tractor-trailer westbound in lane two at approximately 10:31 AM.

For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle drifted across the westbound fog line and onto the shoulder, striking the guardrail. The truck broke through the barrier, overturned, and came to a final rest on its passenger side.

Authorities confirmed that Kipkoech was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained no injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no charges have been filed as the investigation remains ongoing.
