TRUCK GOES UP IN FLAMES DEEP IN ROANE COUNTY WOODS
A late-night vehicle fire deep in the woods off Branham Hollow Road left a 1995 Ford F-150 completely destroyed, though the driver escaped without injury.
Members of the South Roane County Fire Department responded to the scene just before 11:00 p.m. Monday following reports of a vehicle fire in a wooded area near River Road.
According to Fire Chief Mike Curtis, firefighters discovered the pickup truck fully engulfed on a dirt roadway nearly a mile into the woods.
