TWO ACCIDENTS IN ROANE COUNTY INJURES AT LEAST ONE
A two vehicle accident in Rockwood Saturday morning (June 24, 2017) sent an 81-year-old Rockwood woman to the hospital. Officers say Peral Lane’s vehicle was struck in the side at a traffic signal on North Gateway by another vehicle driven by 19-year-old McKala Perciful. Lane was transported by ambulance to Roane Medical Center where she was reportedly treated for non-life threatening injuries. Perciful was not injured in the accident.
In another accident, Lifestar landed at the helipad at Roane Medical Center this afternoon (Monday, June 26, 2017) following a two car crash on Ruritan Road in Harriman. The road was closed for a while as the accident was investigated. Details of the crash was not available by authorities.
