Two individuals face charges after allegedly attempting to bring drugs into the Roane County jail. An officer reportedly discovered a small bag of meth on 38-year-old Thomas Joshua Branham while he was being processed at the jail. A short time later in a different incident, officers transported 28-year-old Stephanie Nicole Godsey to the jail from out of the county. A deputy noticed Godsey digging into the front part of her pants. Godsey reportedly told the officer she was getting her bond money. She not only handed the deputy rolled up cash but allegedly a baggie containing a large piece of meth. Both were charged with introduction of contraband into a penal institution.
