Two men are in custody following a store robbery in Rhea County. Officers say a caucasian male with his face covered entered the Deli Mart/Gulf Station in Evensville. While the clerks were in the back room, one clerk saw the male subject getting into a drawer and attempted to confront him. At that time, the man ran from the store. Officers responded to the scene and reviewed the security cameras and got a good description of the vehicle. Another subject was waiting in the car and helped the man escape. The subject took approximately $200 from the cash register. Officers located the subjects through the car description and took John F. Costa and Andrew Gene Costa into custody. Both are charged with aggravated robbery and are being held in the Rhea County jail with no bond.
