TWO ARRESTED ON ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES IN FENTRESS COUNTY

On October 07, 2025, The Fentress County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check on an individual at 218 Brodio Road Deerlodge, TN 37226, during the welfare check Deputies noticed skeletal remains on the furniture along with a smell of decay coming from the home.
Deputies then entered the residence. A preliminary check of the residence showed the remains were that of a canine. After verifying that there was no individual present at the home a search warrant was obtained for the animals. The search showed several animals living in severely unsafe and unsanitary conditions that posed a risk to both animal and human life. Several decayed animals were also located. 5 animals were seized and removed from the property to receive medical care.
On December 04, 2025, Bradford Wright was taken into custody and charged with 9 counts of aggravated animal cruelty.
This case is still pending an outcome in court.
This case was investigated by K-9 Deputy Kinney and Detective Atchley.
On January 05, 2026 the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office received a tip in regard to animal cruelty that was taking place at 2001 Memory Garden Road Jamestown, TN 38556. Chief Deputy Fowler and Detective Miller responded to the residence. During the welfare check on the animals it was determined that Deputies had probable cause to obtain a search warrant. A search was then obtained and served at the residence. A total of 6 animals were rescued from the home and taken to a local Vet for treatment.
On January 07, 2026, Joseph Linder and Alisha Voll were taken into custody and charged with Cruelty to Animals.
Alisha Voll plead guilty to 3 counts of animal cruelty.
The charges against Linder were dismissed.
