TWO CHILDREN INJURED IN PONDER’S GAP BUS ROLLOVER
According to the 9th District Attorney General Russell Johnson, a Roane County school bus wrecked earlier this morning on Ponder’s Gap road in South Roane County injuring two students according to his report the bus carrying 21 students almost rolled over into a gulley but a standing tree kept the bus from going over the embankment.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the bus wreck and is also being assisted by the District Attorney General’s Office. District Attorney Johnson stated that they are looking at possible criminal charges in this incident.
The two students were taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
