TWO CROSSVILLE MEN CHARGED AFTER BEING CAUGHT DURING A BURGLARY
On Sunday, Cumberland County deputies responded for someone breaking into a home and taking property from the residence, garage, and shed off Scarlett Drive.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they spoke with the complainant who said he went over to the residence while two subjects were carrying property out of the home. He stated he took photos of the vehicle and one of the individuals involved. When he spoke to the two subjects, he noticed a window opened on the side of the house which he assumed that how they gained entry. He then called the authorities.
Detectives got in contact with the homeowner, who stated no one was to be on the property and no property was to be taken. While looking at pictures the complainant had taken, the deputy recognized one of the suspects as Nathaniel Snowden.
When they arrived at Mr. Snowden’s address, the truck was also identified as being the one at the residence earlier. According to the police report, Mr. Snowden allegedly admitted to being at the residence and removing property.
After speaking with him further, he advised the other male with him as his accomplice was Casper Gentry. Mr. Gentry also had four active warrants out of Cumberland County. Both males were arrested at the scene.
The property that was stolen was recovered by deputies and brought to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office to be retrieved by the victim.
